EDGAR ALLAN POE'S LIGEIA Film Storyline: A creative writer named Jonathon whose on a scholarship, becomes involved with a graduate student named Ligeia, whom is battling the odds of cancer and trying to survive. She resorts to taking the souls of others in order to save her own, and in this case, she partly succeeds.
